Troy Aikman was born on November 21, 1966 in West Covina, California who is a former American football player. He used to play in quarterback position for the Dallas Cowboys in National Football league for almost 12 years of his career. He was the youngest of 3 children and only son. When Troy was only 12 years old his family moved to farm in Henryetta, Oklahoma. After high school he was offered a position with the New York Mets but he turned it down for college at the University of Oklahoma. After that he transferred to UCLA where he completed his studies in Sociology.
After long seasons on high schools and college troy was finally ready for professional career in football. Troy was the No.1 pick in the 1989 NFL Draft by no other than Dallas Cowboys. At first it was difficult for Troy to adjust in the professional football and with new management and new owner. But it was just matter of time for Troy to show his magic and in 1990 led the Cowboys to brink of the playoffs. His new coach Pal Johnson started believing in Troy as he showcased great perception and determination towards the game. In the 1992, troy showed that he was here to make a name for himself and became serious towards his as he became the Most Valued Player that year. It also believed that he led the team to three Super Bowl victories. Troy was elected to the Pro Football hall of fame in 2006 and to the College Football hall of Fame on December 9, 2008 in New York City.
Eventually Troy retired from professional football on April 9, 2001. One of the reasons of his early retirement is conflict upon the contract about the $7 million bonus/7-year contract which wasn’t extended. Still Troy has an estimated net worth of $25 million dollars. During his time Troy was highest paid player in NFL when he signed an 8 year deal of $50 million contract which included an $11 million signing bonus. Currently he works as a television sportscaster for Fox network.

During his time he dated country singer Lorrie Morgan and there were rumors that he also dated Hollywood Star Sandra Bullock and Janine Turner. But he was married to wife Rhonda Worthey, former Cowboys employee on April 8, 2000 in Plano, Texas. Rhonda is also a reality TV star and is a cast member for “The Real Housewives of Dallas”. The couple has two daughters Ashley Aikman and Alexa Marie Aikman born on 2001 and 2002 respectively. Unfortunately, there was problem in their marriage and the couple announced their separation and their divorce was final on April 12, 2011.
